The Aims:
· promote the beach volleyball in Cambodia for women

· show that anyone can play and find joy in beach volleyball
The Events
Starting in March 31st 2018, we had Sihanoukville tournament, in Southern Cambodian on the coast. What a way to start off! Such a great tournament with a gripping ending, where the Cambodian team and international team battled the finals out, with the result of the 3rd set being 15-13. Literally couldn’t be any tighter.
Battambang was a little more rural, with rice fields and the Mekong running through. From 21st April, it was another successful event, despite the scorching hot sun! April is one of the hottest months of the year in Cambodia.
Lastly was the 2-star FIVB event in Phnom Penh, the biggest set up so far for the 3 day event on 4th May. There were: 5 Courts. 80 Trucks of sand. 16 refs. 16 ball boys and lines men. 27 Teams. 19 different countries. Hundreds of bottles of water. 1 monsoon of heavy rain. 1 huge Concert Stage. 15 Acts. 1500 spectators. This definitely didn’t disappoint.

A lot of preparation and organization went in to all the tournaments, but all the efforts was worth it. Due to all the players putting on a great show and all the supporter made this event even more special than expected and the reason why it was such a success! Full Moon Tournaments
Every month, before Full Moon Party
Koh Phangan, Thailand
Every month on Koh Phangan, there is the famous Full Moon Party. BVT uses this opportunity of the increase of over 10,000 people coming for the party, to hold monthly Full Moon Beach Volleyball Tournaments on the day of the party on the Full Moon Beach - Haad Rin. It gets very busy!
Usually 4x4 or 2x2 of 12 teams.
A small entry fee, will give them the chance to win the prizes on offer; FIVB official jerseys, Medals, Mikasa olympic-official balls.
